THIS MONTH’S MEETING
IN-HOUSE RECORD SHOW THIS MONTH!! Members are asked to bring boxes of records and/or CD’s to sell. Approximately 75-100 invitations were sent out to non-members who have attended our August record shows. We hope to have many of them drop by and browse through the items brought in.
You too can invite your friends and others who might be interested in this event. And be sure to bring in those records/CD’s you want to sell. See you there.
UPCOMING BRC MEETINGS
And get ready for our December meeting. We will again do our Dirty Santa game and of course to go along with the giving season we will do the ‘Free For All’ once again.
If you want to participate in the Dirty Santa Game, just wrap up a gift (something new, old, good or not so good) and bring it. Those that want to just watch, please come and be a part of the fun. There will still be music, food, and fellowship.
‘The Free For All’ is where members can bring records that they are willing to have other members look through and take what they want for free. You never know, that special record you have been looking for just might be in a ‘Free For All’ box.

Below is the slate of officers to be presented to the members for their consideration for 2016. The only one still in limbo is the position of president. Hopefully a name will be ready by the meeting this Sunday. Whether this is the list approved or a change is made before approval, members should be ready to work in some capacity with at least one of these officers during the year. They will need and they want your help. Thanks to the committee that put this slate together.

It has been 2 years now since BRC has been airing radio shows on the BRC website. I hope you have been listening. If not, here’s a reminder to go to the website and click on “RADIO’ and see what you have been missing. Over 60 shows are now on the site with all kinds of music, information, and fun. If you have a music theme or idea you think should be included, please let us know. A special thanks to Don Campbell for the engineering work he does and also for allowing us to do all this at his house. And also thanks to Ray Edwards for be the host DJ and then putting the shows together and getting them posted on the website. It has been lots of fun and it is a way for BRC to preserve the music we know and love. Check it out at birminghamrecord.com – Tell a friend!
